Frequently Asked Questions
How does it all work? We’ve tried to answer the most common questions below.
Who is Creation Station NZ and how did it come about?
Find more about our family here (link to About Us section) and how our business started and grew here (About Us blog from July last year).
Where are you based?
We work from our home office in Kawerau in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, NZ. Our website shipping options are limited to New Zealand. We can ship worldwide on request.
What is your turn around time?
Since most of our items are made to order, our turn around time is 10 working days. This allows us to order in materials, print and send.
If you need an item urgently, check out the Ready to Send (link) section or call us to chat.
What print methods do you use?
We have a commercial grade plotter/cutter for creating vinyl decals up to 400mm wide. Car decals, wall decals and more are all possibilities along with our lunchbox labels, drawer labels and drink station labels.
For clothing, we can use either heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or digital print (ink).
Our mugs are printed using dye-sublimation which makes them dishwasher safe.
What about the materials used and ethical stuff?
We use JB’s wear as standard for most of our clothing range. Their website states “good quality products come from good quality factories”.
We have several other clothing suppliers if you have a preferred brand.
Where can we find your sizing and colour guides?
Clothing size and colours are on the bottom of each product listing.
Can we supply our own garments?
Yes, you can. Any supplied garments must be new and unwashed. Digital print works best on 100% cotton items.
Do you do custom orders?
YES! We custom print our items so we can customise and personalise to your requirements. If you don’t see what you’re after, please check out our custom designers for tees, pillowcases, cushion covers and mugs. We’d also love to chat so either give us a call or send us an email!
What file types can you work with?
Our favourite files are .csv or .eps files. We can also work with high-quality jpeg or png files depending on your printing needs.
How are your items sent?
Most of our items are couriered using Courier Post overnight service. Sometimes we use Pass the Parcel for rural. Local orders can be collected or delivered – we do have a local free shipping code.
Please see our blog post here explaining our compostable courier bags.
What terms and conditions am I agreeing to on ordering?
